Weisleat
The Weisleat, where the villas of Wetterhaghe are located, is a small lake, in Frisian a ‘poel’. Green bordered by meadows, reed beds and salt marshes. In the summer a perfect place for all kinds of water sports, in the winter a popular skating spot. The pool is connected to the Idzegaasterpoel on the west side (connected to a canoe route to the Oudegaaster Brekken and the Heegermeer) and to Heeg via a canal on the east side. On the north side the Wegsloot is connected to the Rintjepoel by a narrow passage.
