Heeg (or Heech as we say in Friesland) is centrally located in the Frisian lake district is the eldorado for water sports enthusiasts. This is mainly thanks to its unique location: on the Heegermeer; together with the Fluessen and the Morra, one of Friesland's largest sailing areas. Heeg is a lively water sports village with a varied range of shops and restaurants. Various events are organised during the season. Think of Heechspanning on Ascension Day or the Heechsimmer Festival. Chris and Marian from Aan het Water will be happy to inform you about these events. Or dive into Heeg's history. You lack nothing in a water lodge at Aan het Water. The light, comfortable water-oriented living rooms are warmly furnished with a cosy sitting and dining area. The bathrooms of our water lodges are equipped with a luxury shower, toilet and washbasin. In the open kitchen you will find an induction cooker, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, combination microwave, kettle and coffee maker. In the two bedrooms you sleep on comfortable boxsprings and of course there is plenty of cupboard space. Beds are made upon arrival, towel set and/or kitchen linen can be booked in addition.
