Book your stay at Aan het Water in Heeg now
Aan het Water: versatile, personal and hospitable.
Born out of love for the Frisian lake area and our passion for water sports.
It is for a reason that our logo says bed, boat, bungalow: it exactly describes our services.
Bed stands for our home accommodation right next to the entrance to the (peninsula) island of the Gouden Boaijum in Heeg. Here you will find our group accommodation, with nice rooms, a spacious living room/dining room and a lovely garden on the water.
Boot refers to the vessels that we rent out in combination with the rental of our accommodations. How about our 6.60 meter long 6/8 person Stil electrosloop or one of our sporty SUP boards. But also a day trip with our Tjalk Concordia with skipper. Aan het Water takes care of it.
Bungalow stands for our water villas, holiday homes and water lodges. A wide choice of 4-6-8 person bungalows, all without exception located on the water.
Rent a sloop during your stay and enjoy the Frisian lakes!
Or go sailing with a large group of family/friends in the tjalk Concordia.
You can rent a sturdy 8-person electric boat or SUP board directly at your holiday home or group accommodation. But how about a day trip with our Tjalk Concordia? This 12 meter long Tjalk is suitable for day trips with a maximum of 12 people. You are always accompanied by an experienced skipper.
Have a nice trip in Friesland
Water sports village Heeg is centrally located in the Frisian lake area on the Heegermeer. Heeg connects various waterways to villages such as Oudega, Gaastmeer, Woudsend, Koudum and Elahuizen and cities such as IJlst, Sneek, Workum and Stavoren. Our group accommodation Aan het Water as well as our holiday homes are all located directly on one of those waterways and a few minutes by boat from the Heegermeer.
Who are we?
Your hosts, Chris and Marian, wish you a warm welcome in Heeg. In January 2016 they became owners of B&B and holiday homes Aan het Water. Both grew up in the Heeg area. After having lived outside the Frisian Lake District for a long period, the lack became too great and they decided to move back. The love for the environment, for water sports and working in the tourism sector all coincided perfectly in this place.
When may we welcome you?
